Welcome.
St. Andrew's Elementary School is located in north/central St.
John's close to Memorial University. The school has been part of
this community since 1964. Its 216 students and 21 teachers, 8
dedicated support staff and the school community in general
represent many backgrounds and cultures. We offer a two stream
Kindergarten to Grade 6 curriculum with the Intensive Core French
program offered at grade 6.
We offer a daily hot school lunch program,
as well as a breakfast program that is administered with the help of
The Seventh Day Adventist. With the assistance of the
Adventist Development and Relief
Agency (A.D.R.A) students at St. Andrew's are able to begin the day
with a
nutritious meal.
Intramural sports activities, running club, basketball club,
skipping club and badminton club as well as homework club, drama
club, art club, school choir
are provided to students. The school
participates in many projects and activities to promote a variety of
experiences for our students. Guided by the St. Andrew's School
Council and our excellent staff and a supportive community, we work
hard to maintain our school as a warm and welcoming establishment
that meets all students needs.
